We have
worked hard over the last
18 months. There have been victories and there have been defeats. Along
the
way, we have made many new friends. This picnic is to celebrate all the
people
who showed up to help whenever they could, and the relationships that
resulted.
Use of Edgewood
Gardens
and the facilities is courtesy of the owners, Ilga
Jansons and Michael Dryfoos.
We will be following their lead and having minimal environmental impact
with
the picnic by generating as little trash as is possible. Plates, cups,
glasses and
silverware are provided. There are means to heat dishes if needed. We
will not
be barbecuing.
Arrival
time: as
early as 5:00pm.
Show up early and spend time enjoying the gardens.
Picnic begins: 6:00pm
Brief Meeting: 7:00pm
Relaxing time: Wander the
gardens, chat with friends, and enjoy the views.
Event Ends: 9:00pm
There are
few lights on the
property so we need to be leaving before dark. So, we should be walking
to our
cars before 9pm, at the
latest.
There is room
to seat 100 people
comfortably undercover (if we do have rain).
RSVP is
required: Patti

We will cut-off the RSVP at 6pm
Sunday July 12th. If you need transportation let Patti,
Diane; or
Sandra know. We will help
with that. When
you RSVP, let Patti or Diane know what you will be bringing. If you are
not
sure, they may have some helpful ideas. General suggestions by initial

For those driving the vehicles:
Parking
outside Edgewood Garden is
not allowed. When you arrive at Edgewood
Gardens you must
drive through the

people there
to direct you to the parking location.
Once parked, follow the signs along the paths through the gardens to
the picnic.
