Election observers are citizens who go to the county election offices during an election to watch ballots being opened and counted. They provide assurance of oversight and accountability into this essential process at the heart of our democracy. This year Republicans are turning out in hordes to “prove fraud”. Democrats must stand up to them and support our election staff.
For Pierce County: Election Observer training is mandatory and is scheduled for Wednesday, July 20, 9:00 am OR 1:00 pm.
