We hope you and your friends will join us on Sunday, May 6 from 2 – 5 PM for a dazzling afternoon of engagement and relaxation at the enchanting Edgewood Garden, located on a private 32-acre landscaped estate with stunning views of Mt. Rainier!
Stroll through idyllic garden paths, enjoy the company of friends (old and new), and rub shoulders with several Democratic candidates who will be discussing with us their strategies for making our community a more vibrant, healthy and inclusive place to live, work and raise families in 2018 and beyond.
We will also be hosting a silent auction of unique gift baskets perfect for Mothers’ Day, Fathers’ Day, or graduation gifts, so you can save yourself the time –and aggravation– of shopping malls, while supporting local Democrats.
So please, mark your calendars, or better yet, purchase your tickets now! Tickets are $31.00 each.
This special fundraising event promises to not only uplift your spirits, it will give a boost to our efforts to galvanize citizen engagement in local politics and increase voter turnout. You’ll be helping us do the important work of hosting voter registration drives, petition signing and information booths at summer fairs and farmers markets. This work is necessary to build support for local candidates who will stand strong for our shared values as articulated in our 2018 Platform, creating a Blue Wave of Democratic victories in 2018.
(Please be advised that Edgewood Garden is a private residence, and is NOT open to the public. Directions to the venue will be included in the receipt that will be sent to your email address via our donation processor, ActBlue.)

So you are a PCO (Precinct Committee Officer) - congratulations! Now what?
Most of you have probably heard it said over and over that PCOs are critical to getting Democrats elected in our LD, state, and nation. You might be aware of our plan to get as many PCOs elected in our LD as possible. You might have considered becoming a PCO yourself, or maybe you already ARE a PCO.
But you probably still have questions, from “What is a PCO?” to “What does a PCO do?” to “How can I be a more effective PCO” to “How can I get more support as a PCO?”
Join us at 6:15 on February 28 (during pre-meeting social hour) for snacks, information, and support. This is an ideal time to learn about this all-important position in the Democratic party:
- Ask and answer questions about what a PCO is, and why they are important
- Talk to other PCOs about how to be effective
- And most importantly, build a network of support among PCOs, because each of us is much stronger and more effective together than we can be alone
If you are thinking of becoming a PCO, or if you just want to know what we’re talking about when we say “PCO,” or if you already are a PCO but you want to know what happens next, please join us!... See MoreSee Less
