31st L.D. Democrats Executive Board

Call to Order at 7:00pm by Chair Brian Gunn.
Roll was called and there was a quorum of 10 members present.

Brian: Board Vacancies:
Currently 3 vacancies: Alternate KCDCC Female, Primary KCDCC Male and King County Vice Chair. Various possible candidates were discussed from among PCO’s. Will vet and report to General Membership.
Allison:
Requested process for resolution to support H.R 676, Medicare For All. Discussed booth set up and favors for Buckley Log Show, 6/24&25; We need candidate lit for booth and staffing volunteers (available on website). Advisory that the Sumner bridge project is getting started.
Communication:
Sarah: Met with the new Organizer. Needs info from caucuses with state party.
Brian: No word on June meeting speaker. Will continue candidate endorsements at June meeting and reconsideration of Backus endorsement. Newsletter is looking for content, contact Daniel for submission.
Met Kali (Organizer) & oriented her on the 31st L.D. She will be focusing on the 45th & 31st races this year. Building recruits for “Summer of Caucus” outreach. There will be a training in Enumclaw & canvas on 6/11. Kali will be at the June General Meeting for meet & greet and her contact info will be on the website.
Treasurer Report:
Rudy: Draft report submitted.
Rudy pointed out that recurring donations were above budgeted projections.
Good of the Order:
Robin asked about setting up a candidate Town Hall. We are waiting to hear on availability from campaigns.
