31st L.D. Democrats Executive Board
October 4th, 2017, 7 pm
K.C. Democrats Office, Auburn
Called to Order at 7:00pm by Chair Brian Gunn. A quorum of 12 members were present.
Brian discussed listsharing of our member list with endorsed candidates. Rudy outlined PDC rules for “donating” lists and disclosure requirements. He will get written clarification. Discussed using VoterCircle as a resource.
M/S/C to email blast with Sendin Blue to L.D. 31 members with a link to VoterCircle with Rylands endorsement.
M/S/C for Rudy to obtain direction from PDC on reporting requirements for list “donations” to campaigns.
Treasurer Report: Attached. Rudy expects the Exempt account to be vacated this month. Need to hold a reserve for outstanding building rent costs. Donation from the 24th L.D. has been authorized, but not yet received.
M/S/C to donate $2500 each to the Rylands and Lowry campaigns.
New Business:
Robin: The Lake Tapps Resistance would like to join our holiday party. To avoid conflict with holiday and pending availability of sites, it was suggested to move the November General Meeting to Wednesday, November 29th and hold our holiday party on December 15th at the Grange.
We also should review and discuss best meeting dates for 2018 general meetings. Please forward conflicts or preferences to Brian.
General Mtg. Speakers: Dorene Carroll, Puget Sound Advocates for Retirement Action is scheduled to address the general body.
